Nebraska Health Network Holds Annual Spring Provider Meeting and Recognizes Top Performers

Five Clinics Were Honored for their Commitment to Patient Care

Omaha, Neb. (May 9, 2022): On May 3, 2022, attendees gathered at the Scott Conference Center in Omaha for the Nebraska Health Network Spring 2022 Provider Meeting. The meeting gives Nebraska Health Network administrators, physicians, advanced practice providers and clinic personnel the opportunity to learn more about the Accountable Care Organization.

NHN honored five clinics with its Outstanding Clinical Performance Awards for their work surrounding Medicare Annual Wellness Visits. Honorees included:

  • Most Improved: Bluffs Family Health Care and UNMCP Internal Medicine Bellevue Medical Center
  • Highest Overall Completion Rate: Methodist Physicians Clinic South-Family Medicine, UNMCP Internal Medicine Brentwood and UNMCP Internal Medicine Eagle Run

The Spring Meeting is one of two meetings each year where providers and ACO personnel gather to learn about the latest industry trends, network and celebrate value-based care work.

“This meeting was about more than just updating providers about the NHN. We’ve really missed our twice-yearly opportunities to interact with providers in more of a social setting,” said NHN Chief Medical Officer, Michael Romano, MD. “This meeting was about breaking the ice and re-learning how to gather together again. We’re looking forward to doing it again this fall.”
