Nebraska Health Network Recognized as One of Becker’s 50 ACOs to Know
Omaha, Neb. (March 25, 2026): Nebraska Health Network was recognized as one of Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2026 edition of its “ACOs to Know” list.
Becker's said that the accountable care organizations featured on the list are recognized for their success in identifying and implementing meaningful cost savings across healthcare delivery. By improving efficiency and care coordination, the organizations generate millions of dollars in savings each year, benefiting both patients and providers alike.
NHN is the Accountable Care Organization for Methodist Health System and Nebraska Medicine. The team works to improve quality, lower costs and strengthen the patient experience.
NHN’s value-based care work spans Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid contracts helping more than 219,000 lives each year. Since joining the Medicare Shared Savings Program in 2017, NHN has saved the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services more than $46.7 million.
“Nebraska Health Network’s success is credited to our tremendous partnership with Methodist, Nebraska Medicine and independent providers across the Greater Omaha community,” said Lee Handke, PharmD, MBA, NHN Chief Executive Officer. “We are honored to work with them to help make care more affordable and accessible for our community.”
